In 2013 Georgia became TITR's founding member
The transport consortium was created to transport Chinese goods through the Trans-Caspian Traffic Highway to Turkey and Europe. Consortium co-founders are Chinese, Kazakh, Azerbaijani and Georgian companies. Georgian party is presented by GR Logistics & Terminals– subsidiary company of JSC Georgian Railways.
The project facilitates logistical schemes for Georgian importers and exporters interested in the Chinese market.
